About the Facilitators:

Jeida K. Storey (she/her) is a preachin’ & teachin’ mother, medium, and mystical midwife. She hails from the southside of Atlanta with roots that reach through the Deep South of Turtle Island including Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas, and the Mississippi Delta. Her work as a Hoodoo is to serve as a gentle guide who (re)connects Blackfolk to themselves, their Ancestors, and their Guides through divination & storytelling.

Xolani (they/them) is a folk artist, anthropologist, and educator. They are a keeper of ancestral wisdom and steward of lost energy healing systems. Their ancestors existed on Biloxi, Choctaw, and Muskogee lands (Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama). All their work aims to create and sustain affirming spiritual infrastructure for Black queer & neurodivergent peoples. They are currently learning to be steadfastly in love with their authentic self.
